GLOVERSVILLE – The Leader-Herald won an award for its editorial writing from the New York News Publishers Association.
The association presented the newspaper with a 2011-12 Award for Excellence for Editorial Writing in the 10,000 to 24,999 circulation class.
The winning submission was an editorial titled “Fund increase should wait.” The editorial was written by Senior News Editor Rodney Minor.
