GALWAY – The Galway Lioness Club of Lions District 20-Y2 will hold its dinner meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Galway Lions Club building, 2167 East St.
The guest speaker will be Donna Townsend, the owner of the Sweet Briar Flower Shop. A collection box will be available for donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Greater Galway Community Services Association Food Pantry.
The Lioness Club board meeting will follow the dinner meeting. The committee reports will be shared and the upcoming events will be discussed.
The Lioness Club will sponsor a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 27 in the Galway Village Park.
The Lioness Club also will participate in the Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. Club members are to meet at the Galway Volunteer Fire Department for formation in the parade at 9:30 a.m.
