GLOVERSVILLE – City police said a man was arrested Wednesday for inappropriately touching an 8-year-old girl.
William Warner III, 43, of 18 Oakland Ave. and 41 Walnut St., was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony.
Police said it was reported to detectives Warner had inappropriate sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl at his former residence at 10 Glenwood Ave. in 2007.
Police said it is alleged Warner entered the bedroom where the girl was sleeping, got into bed with her and touched her inappropriately.
Warner was arraigned in City Court and sent to Fulton County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in City Court.
