GLOVERSVILLE – A local man was arrested Friday on charges that he harassed a woman by calling her more than 200 times and sending her more than 100 text messages over the course of three days.
Police say Karl E. Lorenzen, 27, of 77 W. Pine St., was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree criminal contempt in connection with the calls and texts, which started April 21.
According to police, Lorenzen had no legitimate reason for the high volume of calls and texts, and the woman filed a complaint with police.
Lorenzen was arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
