AMSTERDAM – Cornell Cooperative Extension in Fulton and Montgomery Counties will host a “Grow with 4-H” spring recruitment night Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Amsterdam Free Library, 28 Church St.
Children and adult participants will have the opportunity to plant pillow packs with marigold seeds to take home, have light refreshments and learn more about 4-H in Fulton and Montgomery counties.
Individuals planning to participate in the 4-H recruitment session are asked to preregister by calling 673-5525, Ext. 114, or e-mailing [email protected].
Cornell Cooperative Extension is seeking youth members and adult volunteers to join the local 4-H youth development program and start new 4-H clubs, a news release said. Information about membership and volunteer opportunities will be shared, the release said.
