Chamber offers health care seminar

GLOVERSVILLE – The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business seminar entitled, “Remedy for Health Care Reform Doubts” at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Chamber Board Room, 2 N. Main St.

According to a news release, as a service to Chamber membership, the Chamber and NBT Insurance are offering this informative seminar to assist with the navigation of this complex issue including:

  • Health Care Reform – What’s Next: covers the future of the health care reform law, focusing on the provisions that are applicable to employers and health plans, as well as upcoming deadlines employers are facing.
  • Health Care Reform Update: Covers recent developments related to health care reform
  • Health Care Reform, 2014 Changes: Focuses on the health care reform requirements that will take effect in 2014, including plan design changes, individual and employer penalties, as well as notice and disclosure requirements.
