AMSTERDAM – The Amsterdam Elks Lodge 101 will sponsor a Halloween parade at 1 p.m. Oct. 26, with a rain date of Oct. 27.
The Parade Committee is looking for participants.
The parade will begin at the corner of Guy Park Avenue and Evelyn Avenue and proceed down Guy Park Avenue to Wall Street. The staging areas will be located from Ann Street to Evelyn Avenue along Guy Park Avenue, according to a news release.
Participants will line up at noon. There will be volunteers located throughout the staging area and parade route to assist.
The review stand will be located in the parking lot of the office of Dr. Robert Selbert, 93 Guy Park Ave. Trophies will be awarded to the scariest, funniest, most original and largest group participants immediately following the parade at the Elks Lodge, 8 Fourth Ave. Hot dogs and soda will be available for all parade participants.
