GLOVERSVILLE – A city man was charged with a misdemeanor Tuesday night after police said he threw his mother into a sink and onto a bed.
Police said Stephen G. Jacobs, 23, of 100 Lincoln St., was charged with third-degree attempted assault.
Police said he was charged at home after an investigation of a domestic violence incident at the residence. Police said Jacobs allegedly grabbed his mother by the hair, throwing her into a kitchen sink. He is also accused of grabbing her by the throat and throwing her down onto a bed, police said.
The suspect was arraigned in City Court and faces further court action.
