JOHNSTOWN – Assemblyman Marc W. Butler, Newport, has announced that his office inside City Hall, at 33 E. Main St., will be collecting books for the Gloversville Boys & Girls Club, according to a news release.
The Boys & Girls Club is in immediate need of gently used books and games appropriate for boys and girls from preschool through sixth grade.
The Boys and Girls Club offers activities and services to the children of Gloversville on a limited budget, the news release said.
Items can be brought to the assemblyman’s office Monday through Friday during business hours, the news release said.
