MAYFIELD – Town Assessor Melissa Mazzarelli may have her contract renewed next month after negotiations, officials said.
During the recent Town Board meeting, Deputy Town Supervisor and Councilman Vincent Coletti motioned for the board to enter into executive session to discuss the contract of an employee.
After the executive session ended, Coletti announced the board needed a resolution to extend Mazzarelli’s current contract for another month while the board discussed the details of a contract.
Mazzarelli agreed to that, and said she would not want to go forward with anything until she had spoken with the board.
