Vacant seat
The library recently announced there is a vacant seat on its Board of Trustees.
Those interested in the position must submit a letter of interest to the library director at P.O. Box 207, Galway, NY 12074, or by email to [email protected]
The board hopes to interview the new candidate at the Sept. 17 meeting so that person can begin serving by the Oct. 1 meeting.
The term will last until the next general election in June.
The board meets regularly on first and third Tuesdays of each month, at 7 p.m. at the library.
