GLOVERSVILLE – City police and state police executed a search warrant Friday that resulted in the arrest of a man who was in possession of heroin and marijuana, authorities said.
Alex J. Robles-Flores, 22, of 3 Prospect Ave., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Investigators and detectives found heroin, marijuana and equipment used to package and weigh drugs for sale, police said, resulting in the arrest of Robles-Flores.
Police Chief Donald VanDeusen said this morning 64 bags of heroin?- with an estimated street value of more than $1,000 – were found at the location, along with 30 grams of marijuana.
As a result of information learned during the search warrant execution, authorities said, a stolen handgun was recovered at another location in the city.
VanDeusen said the handgun is still under investigation, and he wouldn’t say where the weapon was found.
