NELLISTON – Habitat for Humanity Montgomery County NY is expected to complete A Brush With Kindness Project today.
The group, in partnership with from Scott Horton of Correll Contracting, is repairing a roof that threatened the homeowner’s living condition, a news release said. The homeowner is a recently disabled widow, the release said. The roof began leaking significantly earlier this year causing a great deal of interior damage. The cost to repair the roof was beyond her means, the release said.
The A Brush With Kindness Program is designed so the homeowner repays the group over time with a no-interest loan for materials only, the release said.
