Johnstown man faces felony charges

MAYFIELD – State police said a Johnstown man was arrested for receiving unemployment insurance money while he was employed.

David S. Livingstone, 51, was charged Sept. 6 with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records, both felonies.

Troopers said Livingstone received $7,680 from unemployment insurance between May 16, 2011 and Oct. 2, 2011.

While Livingstone indicated he was unemployed at that time, trooper said, he actually was employed in Burlington, Vt.

Livingstone was arraigned in Johnstown?City Court and sent to Fulton?County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. He was scheduled to reappear in?City Court.
