GLOVERSVILLE – A Mayfield man was arrested by city police Friday after he intentionally struck another vehicle with his Ford Explorer, police said.
Michael Sinda, 50, of 378 Beech St., Mayfield, was charged with three counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
Police said Sinda caused an accident at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Monroe Street when he intentionally struck another vehicle with two occupants inside.
Miles Woolridge, 47, of 7 Spruce St., who was the passenger in the other vehicle, was arrested and charged with harassment, a violation.
Police said Woolridge was charged after he pushed a 15-year-old female after the accident.
Capt. John Sira said Woolridge and Sinda have a documented history with one another where they have had negative exchanges in the past.
Sira said Sinda claimed there was a mechanical issue and speed may have played a factor.
He said no injuries occurred as a result of the accident.
