FONDA – Three individuals were sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Monday, according to District Attorney James E. “Jed” Conboy.
Orestes Andino Jr., 44, of 188 Division St., Amsterdam, was sentenced to two years in state prison, two years of post-release supervision and was ordered to pay $180 in restitution.
Andino pleaded guilty Aug. 6 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. This stems from incidents involving heroin in Amsterdam between October 2012 and January 2013, police said.
Also sentenced were:
- Byron S. Hickman, 24, of 505 E. 120th St., New York City, was sentenced to six months in county jail and five years of probation.
Hickman pleaded guilty Aug. 7 to second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument in connection with his possession of a fake credit card, police said.
- Fernando Rodriguez, 35, of 4 Vrooman Ave., Amsterdam, was sentenced to three years in state prison, two years of post-release supervision and ordered to pay $90 in restitution.
Rodriguez pleaded guilty Sept. 3 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance stemming from his sale of cocaine in Amsterdam between October 2011 and August 2012, police said.
