Alzheimer’s support group meeting set

JOHNSTOWN – Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home announced the Alzheimer’s caregiver support group will meet on Thursday at 4 p.m. at HealthLink Littauer, 2 Colonial Court.

This month’s topic is dementia and will be led by Sue Cridland, Littauer’s director of community education. Participants will learn about the different types of dementia and their associated behaviors followed by open group discussion, a news release said.

The support group is for family members who care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. The meeting is free and no enrollment is necessary.
