Gloversville library set to mark day

GLOVERSVILLE – The Gloversville Public Library invites people to celebrate national “Take Your Child to the Library Day” on Saturday, a news release said.

There will be random prizes, crafts, and special story times throughout the day, the release said

Also, the library will host a special story time – “Clifford’s Birthday Surprise” – on Feb. 13. at 10:30 a.m. Children will see a short video, hear a story and create a special craft to help celebrate the birthday of Clifford the Big Red Dog, a news release said. Clifford also will make an appearance, the release said.

There will be no charge for this event, but reservations should be made at the children’s room of the library or using the event calendar link on the library’s website, the release said.
