MAYFIELD – A man was arrested Friday for growing marijuana, state police said.
Steven A. Stanziano, 66, of Mayfield was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (prior felon), a felony, unlawfully growing cannabis, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Police said troopers executed a search warrant and found three areas where marijuana was growing in the residence. Troopers also found two long guns, police said.
Stanziano was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail.
