OPPENHEIM – Oppenheim transfer station hours will change starting Tuesday, according to officials at the Fulton County Department of Solid Waste.
The station will no longer be open on Wednesday, but expanded Tuesday hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Also, Thursday hours will shift earlier, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday hours will stay the same, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The station will still be open 24 hours per week, according to a news release.
For more information on garbage disposal and recycling guidelines, residents can obtain a 2016 department calendar at the transfer station or call the Department of Solid Waste at 736-5501.
