FONDA -The Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., has been exhibiting the artwork of John Morette this month.
Morette is a graduate of Alfred University with a bachelor’s degree in fine art in ceramic design.
Although Morette’s work is in primarily pen and ink and watercolors, he also uses other media: acrylics, silkscreen, block and mono prints, a news release said. He also has worked with gourds, has made pierced and painted lamp shades, tole and folk art work, woodcarvings and caning chairs.
Morette has had work displayed in various places, including the Hagaman Art Show and at the Micropolis Cooperative in Gloversville.
