GLOVERSVILLE – The Sisters of the Holy Spirit met recently for a year-end picnic. There were 35 people in attendance.
Markie King, president, opened the meeting. Barbara Rieth led the group in a decade of the rosary. Jean LaPorta made the motion to replace four tables.
A pie sale will take place in September.
A donation was made to The Rev. Francis Vivacqua for the ordination mass and party at Auriesville.
The cooks in the kitchen were Martha Mongata and Phil Berger. The salads were provided by Berger, Sandy Suchy and Cindy Krueger-Farley. The desserts were provided by Patty Franco, King, LaPorta and Ann Masala.
The 50-50 was won by Franco and Antoinette Tropia.
The next meeting will be Sept 12.
