GLOVERSVILLE – Realtor Virginia M. Mackey attended the 2016 Realtor Broker Summit held by the National Association of Realtors in Denver, Colo. last week, a news release said.
The summit presented new business practices relevant to the ever-changing industry needs, especially regarding technology trends and evolving brokerage models. While at the summit, the attendees learned best practices and received advice regarding management and entrepreneurial skills, and gained insights to make not only their brokerages, but the real estate industry in general, more successful, the news release said.
The main motivational speaker was Mary Lou Retton, Olympic gold medal gymnast, according to the release. In telling her life story, Retton depicted the challenges involved in her accomplishments throughout her life, demonstrating to the summit attendees how to use their strengths in both their personal lives and business pursuits, the news release said.
