JOHNSTOWN – Three parcels totalling nearly 69 acres were added into Fulton County’s sole agricultural district by the Board of Supervisors earlier this week.
Following a public hearing with no speakers, the board added these town of Mayfield and Johnstown parcels: Richard Cast – two parcels totaling 64.4 acres and 1.7 acres at 137 Jackson Summit West; and David Cast – one parcel of 2.8 acres at 460 County Highway 146.
Properties in the district acquire certain land rights and tax breaks under the state Agricultural Districts Law.
