BRANSON, Mo. – The Marquis Who’s Who Selection Board has inducted Dr. Richard Stoddard, a native of Gloversville and now residing in Branson, Mo., into the 2016 edition of Who’s Who in the World. He will join other inductees which include the most notable and accomplished men and women from around the globe, according to a news release.
In Stoddard’s early career, he held executive positions with major national and international corporations. From 1975 forward, he established and operated a legion of wholly-owned firms enveloping several professions serving individuals, small businesses, publicly-traded corporations and governments throughout the world. Professional services offered encompassed the accountancy, consulting, business, tax, auditing, fraud and forensic examination, covert intelligence and commercial flight professions, the news release said.
As senior executive of a Houston, Texas engineering and space exploration firm, he was awarded medals by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronauts and his firm for professional expertise and involvement in the successful United States manned spaceflight program. He is noted in Who’s Who in America and biographies of his life have been published in several national and international reference works, including Who’s Who in the South and Southwest and Who’s Who in the World. He was selected as the International Man of the Year in 1992-1993 and nominated as the Most Admired Man of the Decade, the news release said.
