Library plans children’s programs

ST. JOHNSVILLE – In cooperation with the Museum of Innovation and Science, Margaret Memorial Library will offer a series of four programs for children pre-k through fifth grade, a news release said.

The programs have been scheduled throughout the month of October.

– Oct. 1, for children pre-k through second grade – Little Wonders of Science will be presented. Little Wonders is a science based story time with basic experiments, the news release said.

– Oct. 8, children grades third through fifth will explore the components and uses of dry ice, the news release said.

-?Oct. 15 , children grades third through fifth will learn what it takes to be an inventor during innovation and invention, the release said.

-?Oct. 22, children grades third through fifth will enter the Dudley Observatory traveling planetarium for the program Reasons for Season and learn about the earth’s seasonal changes.

The MiSci programs will begin at 11 a.m. and are free, the release said.
