GLOVERSVILLE – The Family Counseling Center, provider of Behavioral Health Services, will be presenting Dr. Edward Valentine with its Dr. David and Ann Lee Clough Award Wednesday at the organization’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, according to a news release.
The award recognizes an individual or group for exceptional contributions to the field of behavioral health. The Clough’s are thought of as the “grandparents” of the organization, as they acted as pioneers in bringing behavioral health services to Fulton County. This event coincides with agency’s 40th Birthday, and will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the First Congregational Church.
This year’s recipient, Dr. Edward Valentine, attended Union College where he graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the prestigious Lasnik award for the most outstanding premedical student. He qualified for the Fulton County Medical Scholarship, which was offered by the county in a program designed to attract doctors to practice in Fulton County.
All are welcome to attend. Reservations can be made by calling 725-4310 ext.152 or by emailing [email protected]
