Gloversville — The Gloversville Business Improvement District is holding a holiday raffle for a $250 prize for people who shop downtown Gloversville during the 2016 holiday season.
The raffle began on Nov. 19 and will continue through Dec. 17. For every $100 spent in participating downtown Gloversville retailers, receipts can be shown to BID representatives to be entered into the raffle. There will be one raffle ticket for every $100 spent; the $100 does not have to be spent in one place or on one receipt. Receipts must be dated and within the dates specified — Nov. 19 through Dec. 17 — each receipt can only be used once.
The drawing for one $250 winner will be Dec. 19 at the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2 N. Main St., Gloversville.
Gloversville BID representatives will be available for raffle tickets for receipts shown each Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main St. or each Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Dec. 16 at the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2 N. Main St.
Shoppers who want to redeem receipts for raffle tickets at the chamber are asked to call the chamber first to make sure the office is open at 725-0641.
