Beekeepers meeting set for March 20

BALLSTON SPA — The Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association will meet March 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 50 W. High St.

The speaker, Aaron Morris, will focus on the causes of swarming and what a beekeeper can do to control it, with the revelation that one may not “control” swarming, but one may control where the bees swarm.

The Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association, located in eastern New York, promotes and supports the interests of beekeepers, both hobbyists and commercial, with educational and social activities. Counties served include Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington.
