Meetings planned to explain referendum

GALWAY — The Galway Public Library, 5264 Sacandaga Road, will hold community meetings to provide information to the Galway School District residents about the upcoming referendum for a new library building.

The meetings will be held at the Galway Town Hall on May 3 at 7 p.m. and May 6 at 11 a.m., and at the Providence Town Hall on May 10 at 7 p.m. There will also be a public information meeting at the library on June 7 at 7 p.m. to discuss the annual budget and the new building project.

The referendum will take place June 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Galway Town Hall.
