Glove talent show planned for May 20

GLOVERSVILLE — The Glove Performing Arts Center, 42 N. Main St., will be presenting The Glove Talent Show on May 20 at 7 p.m.

The show will be a Save Our Stage fundraiser. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors.

The Glove is looking for performers for this event. Auditions will be held at the Glove Performing Arts Center (upstairs third floor) on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

There will be four age categories — 10 to 15 years of age, 16 to 20, 21 to 40 and 40 years of age and older.

There will be one cash prize for each category. All acts will be limited to 3 to 4 minutes.

Those who wish to audition are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time to fill out paperwork and to warm up.

The Glove will provide limited space for warmups, a piano and a stereo. Performers should be ready to go with tapes cued, instruments tuned and all material needed to demonstrate their talent.
