Quilt show planned for June 2 and 3

MAYFIELD — The Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 N. Main St., will have its 22nd annual quilt show from 4 to 8 p.m. June 2 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 3.

The featured artist this year is quilt teacher, designer and author, Sue Pfau, who lives in Diamond Point, Warren County, with her husband and two children. She has two quilting books in print and a third one that will come out in January. Because she likes to work with precut fabrics, her books are written primarily for “fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls, layer cakes and charm packs.” Pfau is the owner of Sweet Jane’s Quilting and Design, a pattern-design company. She will present “My Journey to Becoming a Pattern Designer of Precut Fabrics” as well as a trunk show at 6:30 p.m. on June 2.
