JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Area Community Center will celebrate America’s birthday with a fireworks show Saturday at Knox Field.
The rain date is Sunday.
Musical entertainment by Flame will begin at 7 p.m. leading up the main event at 9:30 p.m. The display provided by Santore’s Fireworks of Mechanicville will be choreographed to a mix of modern and patriotic music.
The Johnstown Tourism and Special Events Committee are hosting Summer-fest inside the main gate. That event includes kids games and a bounce house from 3 to 6 p.m. , a news release said.
The JACC invites spectators to arrive early.
The event is made possible solely through donations. The JACC will accept donations toward the fireworks the night of the show.
