NORTHVILLE — This Saturday join the Northville Civic Association for the Northville Christmas Parade, followed by the annual tree lighting in the park and the arrival of Santa. This is the first year for the parade.
The parade begins 4:45 p.m., entering Bridge Street at Third Street to Waterfront Park. Annual festivities in the park include Santa’s tree lighting, a visit with Santa, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a bonfire with cookies and cocoa.
Bring your letter to Santa and support Make-A-Wish with the Macy’s Believe program — look for the big red mailbox in the park.
Throughout the day on Saturday, the local Northville merchants will be holding various holiday open house events.
