Pre-Thanksgiving craft sale planned

GLOVERSVILLE — Soroptimist International of Fulton and Montgomery County will hold its 36th annual pre-Thanksgiving craft fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Gloversville Middle School, 234 Lincoln St.

The fair, which continues a tradition begun by the Hadassah organization 36 years ago, will support the Soroptimist mission to improve the lives of women and girls.

According to Soroptimist spokeswoman Sandra Peters, members of area Soroptimists are excited to offer more than 125 professional crafters and diverse, handcrafted merchandise for shoppers. “Patrons will enjoy all the usual, great features of this event, including easy parking, inexpensive admission—$2 with children younger than 12 free, food at the kitchen concession and bake sale, and gifts and merchandise. A raffle and themed baskets will provide chances to win.
