FLORIDA — The Florida Town Veterans Memorial Park Committee will have a Veterans Day service at 1 p.m. Sunday at the park, 214 Fort Hunter Road. The dedication of the final two monuments remembering the Mexican American War and the Spanish American War will be held. Local veterans organizations will be in attendance along with the Amsterdam High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps.
The guest speaker will be Tom Kelly from Siena College, professor of history emeritus. The public is invited to attend.
