JOHNSTOWN — The Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Fulton and Montgomery Counties will present a spring symposium — “Prepping Your Gardens for 2018” — March 20 at the Johnstown Senior Citizens Center.
The free symposium runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the 109 E. Main St. center.
An extension release states: “Ready….Set…Grow! Come and get valuable information that will help you to have a great growing season. Topics will include (but not limited to): USDA zones, effects of the sun and soil types.”
The public is welcome to join the discussion. Donations will be accepted, and light refreshments will be served.
