Capital Region Congressman Paul D. Tonko will deliver nearly 70 books from the Library of Congress to Amsterdam schools on today including 35 books to Fort Hunter Free Library at 10:30 a.m. and 32 books to Lynch Literacy Academy at 12:15 p.m.
The donations are provided by Tonko through the Library of Congress Surplus Books Program, which donates surplus books to educational institutions, public agencies, and nonprofit tax-exempt agencies.
