GLOVERSVILLE — Today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the NeighborhoodsAgainstDrugs NY group has teamed up with the Drug Enforcement Administration and local drop-box locations to give the public its 15th opportunity in 7 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
The public can bring their pills for disposal to the following sites: Gloversville Police Department lobby, Fulton County Sheriffs Dept., Gloversville Rite Aid, Gloversville CVS, Walmart Pharmacy in Gloversville and Price Chopper Pharmacy in Johnstown. No liquids, needles or sharps can be accepted.
The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
