NORTHVILLE — The following for the Northville Central School District will take place May 8.
∫ At 5:30 p.m. the NCSD will host a meet the board of education candidates event in the auditorium. NCS Board of Education candidates will be available to the public. John P. Sira Jr. is running unopposed for the seat he currently occupies (his first term expires this year). Carolyn Wilcox Adamczyk and Dawn Daum are vying to finish the last four years of the term formerly held by Lynda Klippel, who recently resigned from the BOE, according to a news release.
∫ At 6 p.m. the public budget hearing will begin in the auditorium. The board of education and school administrators will be on hand to answer questions about the proposed 2018-19 budget, the news release stated.
∫ The May board of education business meeting will immediately follow the public budget hearing, the news release stated.
The Northville Board of Education election and budget vote will take place from noon to 8 p.m. May 15 in the school gymnasium, the news release stated.
