JOHNSTOWN —The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department will participate in National Prescription Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the sheriff’s office, 2712 Route 29.
The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Drug Enforcement Administration. County residents can turn in any expired or unused prescription medications.
A sheriff’s news release said the following items will not be accepted: liquids; sharps, such as needles and lancets: and illegal drugs.
