Recovery center to host several events

JOHNSTOWN — The following is for the Rob Constantine Recovery Community and Outreach Center, 86 Briggs St., Suite 6.

April 23, and 30: At 6 p.m. all recovery meeting. All who struggle with addiction, are affected by addiction, and/or support the recovery lifestyle are welcome. All pathways of recovery are embraced.

Today and April 24:

∫ From 6 to 8 p.m. open hours. The center has bumper pool, games, television and conversation in a substance free setting.

∫ At 6 p.m. yoga — gentle yoga postures to provide relaxation to the mind, body, and spirit. Free event.

∫ At 7:30 p.m. men’s support group. Open to all men looking for open conversation and support in their recovery or that of a loved one.

Thursday and April 25:

∫ At 6 p.m. women’s support group. Open to all women looking for open conversation and support in their own recovery or that of a loved one.

∫ At 6 p.m. family support group. A group open to anyone with a family member, friend, or loved one who is in recovery or struggling with substance use disorder.

Thursday and April 26:

∫ At 6:30 p.m. young in recovery — an all recovery meeting format that supports people in or seeking recovery by empowering them to obtain stable employment, secure suitable housing, and continue and complete their educations. The center also advocates on the local and state levels for better accessibility of these services and other effective recovery resources. All are welcome; not just for young people.

∫ From 6 to 8 p.m. open hours. The center has bumper pool, games, television and conversation in a substance free setting.

Friday: From 5 to 6:30 p.m. creative coffee house. All are welcome for coffee, snacks, and creativity through all forms of artistic expression.

April 28: At 1 p.m. bowling — meet at the RCRCOC by 12:30 p.m. for this free and sober event.

Sunday and April 29: From 1 to 4 p.m. for Sunday at the Center. Watch sports or a movie in a substance free environment. Free event.
