JOHNSTOWN — The city Planning Board will conduct public hearings on two expansion projects at its next meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
Board members may take action following hearings on proposed projects at a Stewart’s Shop at 203 N. Comrie Ave., and Benjamin Moore & Co. Inc. at Union Avenue in the Johnstown Industrial Park.
The city Stewart’s Shop is expanding, proposing a $500,000 renovation and addition project. The project includes a 975-square-foot addition to the back of the building for Warren Tire, and 500 square feet of blacktop along the rear property line to allow for better diesel pump traffic flow.
Paint company Benjamin Moore & Co. would build a 136,500-square-foot addition. The existing 114-space parking lot would be expanded to about 208 spaces. The addition will be on about 50 acres.
