New farmer’s market beings today

CAROGA — A new farmers market will be held every Friday through September from 3 to 6 p.m. starting today at Sherman’s parking lot.

The market will offer a variety of 100 percent locally-produced goods and food such as plants, meats, produce, handcrafted soaps, baked goods and Mediterranean cuisine.

The Fulton County Farmer’s Market Association is a not-for-profit group that organizes farmer’s markets throughout the Fulton and Montgomery county area.
