AMSTERDAM — The Amsterdam Mohawk will be hosting an Autism Night on Wednesday.
The Mohawk’s second Autism Night at Shuttleworth Park, 65 Crescent Ave., will feature free admission for individuals affected by autism and their families who register either online at Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara’s website or by calling (518) 382-2941. Santabarbara has partnered with the Mohawk’s to put on the event.
“Autism Night with the Amsterdam Mohawks helps to continue to promote our mission to bring more awareness to the obstacles and challenges that families affected by autism are facing,” said Santabarbara in a news release. “It’s an exciting day for kids like my son to see the Amsterdam Mohawks play on a special night just for them.”
