Breakfast nook menu set for Saturday

GLOVERSVILLE — The following is for the Senior Citizen Service Center of Gloversville and Fulton County, 53 Church St.

Today: 50-55 Plus Club meeting and activities, 1 p.m.; Gloversville Regional Animal Shelter class, 6 p.m.

Tuesday: Tuesday Breakfast Program and coffee hour — $3 donation (menu available), 9:30 a.m.; Gloversville Animal Shelter meeting, 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Free yoga class (donations appreciated), 9 a.m.; coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday Noontime Vittles Program — $3 donation (ham and cheese on rye, homemade potato salad, fruit, ice cream cones), noon.

Thursday: Coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; free bread pass out, 10 a.m.; Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Glove City Coalition meeting, 11 a.m.; Girl Scout Troop meeting and activities, 6 p.m.

Friday: Coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; Writers Circle, 11 a.m.

Saturday: Breakfast Nook Program — $3 donation (homemade coffee cake, fresh scrambled eggs, toast, sausages, fruit, 9 a.m.

The center needs the following.

∫ The center needs volunteers for office, planning events, activities and helping in the kitchen with meals. All ages are welcome. Anyone interested in volunteering for a few hours a day, week or month can stop by or call the center for further details.

∫ The food pantry is low and the center seeks new non-perishable food items for area seniors.
