Junk-in-the-trunk event on Sept. 22

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Youth Commission, due to popular request of the vendors, will hold another “junk-in-the trunk-flea market” event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 22 in front of the Broadalbin-Perth School District Office, corner of Route 29 and Pine Street, according to a news release.

Individuals, organizations, crafters and businesses are invited to load up their trunks (or truck beds) and set up to sell their crafts, merchandise, attic or basement items, etc. There will be a $15 charge for each parking space occupied; $25 for two. The spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. The set up is between 7 and 9 a.m.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Broadalbin Town Park Improvement Fund. No reservations are necessary. For further information, contact Keith Buchanan at (518) 598-9266. The event will go on, rain or shine.
