MAYFIELD — The Mayfield Historical Society’s 27th annual Christmas open house at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2. The admission is free, according to a news release.
The visitors will step back in time to an old-fashioned Christmas with hot mulled cider and cookies, music in the Victorian parlor, seasonal decorations, its homemade pie sale, and tours of the home. Gary Van Slyke will provide the musical entertainment from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 1.
