Class on making a table runner slated

GLOVERSVILLE — Deborah Sheeley will teach how to make a catherdral window quilt table runner in a two-part class from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 and 30, in the granite conference room at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30.

A cathedral window is a traditional quilt made of bits of colorful fabric tucked into a matrix of white or beige squares. It is sewn completely by hand. For the upcoming holidays, participants can make a table runner of fussy cut scenes or pictures.

The cost will be $55 with preregistration or $75 at the door, minus a 20 percent discount for center members.

To register, visit pncreativeartscenter.org or call (518) 661-9932.
