The Mental Health Association (MHA) in Fulton and Montgomery counties is offering an eight week support group, led by a certified facilitator, for individuals in the community who have suffered the loss of a loved one from an overdose. This closed support group hopes to provide those who are grieving this loss an opportunity to openly discuss their emotions with others who have experienced a similar loss and to address the challenges they may face. Every loss is unique, and few people understand this better than those who are experiencing the same type of grief.
The support group will require a registration process and will hold closed meetings. In a closed meeting, it will be the same members each week, so a bond among members can be established. The group will be held weekly in Fulton County.
